Obama Likes Painting Rainbows

Having gone 47 years without ever working to create jobs, wealth or a profit has liberated the president’s mind to pursue
more creative interests. His first year in office has provided him with resources that were not previously available to him and these resources have enabled him to pursue his creative interests with a renewed vigor. A man of supreme ambition, and not one to rest on his laurels, the president is already aiming his sights higher for his next project.  We had a chance to chat with the President's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, about the President's goals. "President Obama has always been very creative. When he first told me about his interest in painting rainbows, I have to admit, I had some reservations. He continues to impress me however and his abilities have far surpassed my initial expectations. He can deftly crank out a high quality rainbow painting while negotiating a trade agreement or receiving a security briefing."

Sources indicate that approximately two months ago the president expressed a strong interest in painting a unicorn. The technical aspects involved in painting this mythical creature confound even the most accomplished artists. Mr. Obama is undeterred however and even Mr. Emanuel believes that the President may be successful. "Look, this guy slammed through a health care bill that over 60% of Americans didn't want. I'm not saying that just anyone can paint unicorns, but I'm convinced that the President has the right stuff". Critics on the right have mocked the president's ambition and Senator Lindsay Graham (R - SC) was recently quoted as saying "Look, painting a bunch of smudgy bright colors and calling it a rainbow is one thing, but I don't think there's much doubt that the President is completely in over his head with a unicorn. I doubt he could even draw a horse". The President declined to comment but junior staffers were quick to remind us that these were the same critics who mocked the President's rainbow ambitions.
